"Tender, fall-off-the-bone chicken! Skip the overnight refrigeration if you are in a hurry. For variety, eliminate the onion and substitute a quartered lemon or two, stuffed into the chicken cavity. Chef Shapeweaver had a good suggestion: Use Fajita Seasoning Mix #28011 as another variation. Thanks! The standard size slow cookers are a bit too small and a whole chicken won't fit. You'll need a 6-quart slow cooker for this recipe."
"This recipe came from a bowling partner several years ago. It is by far the easiest and tastiest baked bean recipe I've ever used. It can easily be doubled or tripled to accommodate large gatherings. I find it handy because I usually have the ingredients on hand to throw it together."
"Amazing flavor, and so simple! No salt needed here. In fact, you may wish to use half the ranch dressing mix to cut back on the saltiness. Found this Crock-Pot pot roast recipe on of a website called www.recipegoldmine.com. It's all the rage there, so I thought I'd try it."
"I love this Crock-Pot chicken recipe for two reasons: one, my family loves it and two, it is so easy to make! I got this recipe from my sister. She has two children of her own, and they love it too! It's also the best leftovers in the world -- if there are any!"
"Have this ready in time and just leave it in your crock pot on the low setting to serve to your guests. This amount is for my 3 liter/quart pot and is easy to adapt for a larger pot. I like to use white sugar but brown can be used if you prefer a darker color. You can add rum or vodka to each serving for a kicked up version."
With sharp knife, slice about 1" off top of each.
"This is one of the best green bean recipes I have tried and its so easy because you prepare it in the crock pot. This comes from my Crockery Dinners cookbook. Enjoy."
"This is so good and it's easy too. This recipe was found in Fresh From the Vegetarian Slow Cooker."
"A simple and comforting crock pot soup. It's so easy that the only work you have to do is chop the onions and cilantro; the rest is a "dump and go"! Recipe is very adjustable to fit everyone's diet preferences: if you're watching your fat intake and/or are watching carbs, use cooked turkey meatballs, omit the rice and use low fat or fat free toppings. You can also use low sodium broth and tomatoes, if watching your salt intake."
"A yummy, easy and cheesy corn casserole served with a little heat! I typically add one whole large jalapeno, because I like it warmer!"
"Chocolatey dessert that you make in the crock pot. Serve hot or warm with ice cream and/or whipped cream topping."
"This is just one of my comfort foods. I love it slathered on homemade biscuits. MMMMmmmm...so good."
"A fluffy, moist wheat and oat bread with a crisp crust. Perfect for baking bread without an oven in the summer."
"A different kind of nut recipe if you love nuts and great to prepare in a crock pot."
"I came up with this when I couldn't decide between chicken cacciatore or something more Tex-Mex. I also wanted a "real" meal without having to work too hard at it. We really enjoyed this. Other cuts of chicken can be used, although I recommend staying away from boneless skinless breasts because I think they tend to dry out in a slow cooker. Since every one's crock pots heat differently and grains can be tricky to cook in a CP, you may have to fool a little bit with the timing on the rice and barley. You could also make that separately and just add it in at serving time. Cooked the way I did it, it almost had a risotto-like texture to it."
