"So easy! Eggs peel much easier than if they are boiled."
This has remained a long time favorite, I have even made this in the winter months and served it to guests many times, lemon flavor pudding mix is also very good to use in place of the chocolate --- you can make this well in advance, it can also be served as a frozen dessert just remove from freezer about 6 minutes before slicing this is just as delicious frozen! if you are serving this at a kid's birthday party place mini Oreo cookies into the topping of Cool Whip facing sideways --- I most always double the chocolate pudding mixture, you may also double the cream cheese mixture if desired --- this is very good!
"Cookies of this type are usually rolled in beaten egg white, which I find a fussy step. That is why I like this recipe so much; it's tasty AND easy. I found it back in the 1980s in a Norene Gilletz book. They look wonderful on a cookie tray."
"I got this delicious German spice cookie recipe from a local newspaper. Instead of using light molasses like the recipe calls for, I use regular molasses beacause I like the darker color."
When my Mom is in a bad mood this is the only dessert that makes her happy. These cakes are warm rich ooey gooey chocolatey heaven
"This is from Gail's grandmother Zick, who came from Germany when she was 14. She was born in the 1880's. It has become one of our family traditions, and frequently a favorite Christmas present."
This is a recipe from my mom and the cake has always been a real hit when I make it. I do double this when I make it as I like a lot of icing on my cake.
"These are great cookies to munch on a Christmas morning and are super tasty with icing and sprinkles."
From James Reeson Alive and Cooking. A good way to use up scraps of puff pastry, I've listed 1/2 sheet of puff pastry cut into strips but James used some scraps that he had frozen from other recipes and thawed them. Times are estimated. Please also note that in Australia pre-rolled pastry sheets are about 22/23 cm square.
"This is a very easy, no-bake Christmas cookie recipe. It makes a festive addition to a Christmas cookie assortment. This recipe was originally my Grandmother's and I hope you enjoy. These cookies always bring back fond memories for me of spending Christmas at Grandma's."
This is our favourite Peanut Butter muffin recipe, (having tried a few). The balance of flavours is just right, they're not too heavy and very moreish. That said I deliberately make just six at a time! However should you want to bake a full batch this recipe doubles with equal success.
I use this for all my pudding recipes from banana to chocolate. I triple the recipe. For chocolate add either one melted oz of bittersweet chocolate or 3tblspn of cocoa blended with 3 tblspn of melted butter. For coconut add 1/2 cup of toasted coconut and exchange 1/2 the vanilla for almond extract. For banana simply use and layer bananas, vanilla wafers, and pudding.
"Another recipe being submitted for ZWT III. I found this on allrecipes.com and it was submitted by YAC2004. The recipes introduction states: These cookies are like little bites of Christmas. Cinnamon and cardamom flavor these little shortbread nuggets.""
"An .easy to make, delicious cake and it only has 4 ingredients. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream."
