Soft Coconut Macaroons

Description
"These are soft yummie cookies. Not like traditional macaroons, they are different in a delightful way."
Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2⁄3 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 2 2⁄3 cups sweetened flaked coconut
- 4 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup chopped almonds
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Combine flour, sugar, salt and coconut in mixing bowl.
- Stir in egg whites and almond extract.
- Stir in almonds, mix well.
- Drop teaspoon fulls onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
